THE PLACE
On the banks of the Ave River, where the water flows with the calm of centuries, stands the Dom Zameiro Bridge, its worn granite and eight uneven arches connecting banks and times. It is said that kings once inscribed their names there in ancient documents, as if engraving the importance of crossings in stone. The river gently envelops it, amidst sleeping watermills and fields that change color with the seasons. The bridge observes everything: the quiet summers, the winter floods, and the stories of those who cross it to come and go. It was a road, it was a refuge, and today it is simply what you always wanted it to be—a place to stop and breathe.
